Managing Members
Organizations can have reporters, contributors, and salespeople working for them. Here's how it works.
In your Dashboard under the Organization tab, an editor can select Manage Members and assign roles to users of the site. Anyone you add must have already registered and have an account with your organization. If you cannot select the name of your member from the drop down menu as you type, you will not be able to assign that person to a role in your organization.
Reporters will have a byline from the organization. You can choose to allow them to publish immediately or after review.
Contributors are volunteers from the community: for example, a funeral home that publishes obituaries. Contributors can publish articles without review but will not have a byline from the organization.
Commissioned Sellers work to sell advertisements for your news organization. You have the ability to adjust the percentage of revenue they receive.
