Beverage Name: The Circus Animal Dot Latte

This week’s spotlight: bean THERE. It's 8:30 on a weekday morning and the neighborhood is already moving. Commuters rushing to work, kids are heading to school, and somewhere in the midst of it all, people are stopping for coffee.

Bean THERE, a 225-square-foot cafe situated on 2107 Goldfinch Boulevard, rocks with the rhythm of the morning, with anywhere from 50 to 100 customers bustling in and out each day. First opened in October of 2022, bean THERE was introduced in the aftermath of COVID, when, despite many people returning to work in person, we had seemingly lost some of the connections that made us human. “COVID gave people tremendous flexibility, but flexibility doesn't mean you want to spend five days a week alone at your kitchen table,” writes Sneh Kadakia, owner and founder of bean THERE. “The original question [is] simple: How do we make working from home – and the daily grind – better?”

Unlike many other coffee shops, bean THERE doesn’t have indoor seating. Rather, it's designed primarily as a grab-and-go specialty cafe: grab a coffee or breakfast on your way to work, sit outside on the patio with Wi-Fi, or take your drink right next door to from HERE, the cafe’s sister coworking space, where workspace starts at $5 an hour.

Bean THERE and from HERE were deliberately designed to work with one another. As Kadakia aptly puts it, “the two were designed to complement each other…'bean THERE' is for your coffee. 'from HERE' is for your computer.” If you need somewhere to work, take a call, or study with friends, from HERE has got you covered. If you just need your coffee for your morning run, rest assured bean THERE is there for you. The relationship between bean THERE and from HERE is like no other: one offers a workspace intended for the neighborhood, complete with various seating options, study rooms, and available monitors, while the other stays focused on its food, drinks, and hospitality.

Top priority at bean THERE rests in the people: the team, the customers, and the community. They are the ones who make it possible to create a neighborhood coffee shop into a third space. The incredible staff at bean THERE, members like Emily, Maria, and Cristian, are the ones that make that possible. Regulars are greeted by name, orders are practically memorized, and each tiny, seemingly unimportant detail is remembered. It makes bean THERE feel less like a cafe and more like a second home. Those little moments in life, hearing about new jobs, being part of someone's weekend routine, or knowing the dogs who pull their owners toward the cafe, go beyond just a simple cup of coffee.

Although bean THERE is still heavily driven by regulars, the cafe went viral in May 2026 through Tiktok and will soon be featured in Edible Jersey’s Fall Princeton issue.

As bean THERE gains more traction, they hope to continue protecting what made the cafe special in the first place: seeing somebody who knows you and is genuinely happy to see you.

How’s the food and drinks?

Bean THERE’s flexibility lies in their menu: regular drinks are always available, but so is something new you’ve never tried (or never heard of before).

Kadakia captures the essence of bean THERE’s coffee perfectly, “Alongside great everyday coffee and espresso, we're known for our specialty drinks, signature canned lattes and constantly changing seasonal menus.”

The drinks at bean THERE are rarely predictable, but they’re always worth trying. From their Everything Bagel Latte, with a radical twist on the popular breakfast food, to Pumpkin Pie Latte, which captures the essence of the cozy fall season, and their Caramel Apple Brew, with rich notes of crisp apple and rich caramel. At bean THERE, every season is a chance to try something new. The food at bean THERE works similarly, providing the convenience of a grab-and-go breakfast while still remaining true to the cafe’s creativity.

If visiting bean THERE for the first time, make sure to stop and try their famous Banana Caramel Latte, a signature officially recognized by as one of the top five banana lattes in New Jersey. If you want to experience the true grab and go experience, take one of their canned lattes for the road.
