Blue states beware! As the election season approaches, there will be a slurry of political fodder out there designed to sway opinions. I subscribe to Patch.com and in my email this morning, I found an extreme right-wing alert that New Jersey’s election integrity is “heavily criticized,” To clarify, it is criticized by the far right, disgruntled by the consistent blueness of blue states. In his article, Alan Wooden, from North Carolina, seen here:��

declares that, “Only five states were worse than the Garden State, which checked in at No.45 alongside the state of Washington (blue) in rankings by the Heritage Foundation (far right, pro-Trump super-PAC). Vermont (blue) was No.47, followed by Oregon (blue), Nevada (blue) and Hawaii (blue). Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama (all red) were a solid 1-2-3 at the front end.” Imagine that! They ranked the red states as having the most election integrity and the blue states the worst! See Alan's entire piece here:��

This is just a heads-up, that as we enter the politically charged season, pause to check your sources. Be mindful before becoming outraged. This is just the start of many incendiary attempts to direct the narrative in all blue states towards the right. They will try to undermine our confidence in all things blue, like democracy itself. This is sure to stoke the flames of division and cause much unrest as the season unfolds.

Minority rule is a cancer that must be treated aggressively. We must remain true to democracy and true to our priority of freedom to marry who we love, freedom to choose if and when to give birth, equity in access to education, opportunity and the ballot box, freedom to breathe clean air and drink clean water. Big business and religious zealots should NOT have the freedom to impede our health and welfare in the name of profit or false righteousness. Talk to your neighbors and friends. Vote to ensure that democracy prevails. We may not get another chance.
