Step out of the cold and onto the stage this winter! This is the perfect class for tweens and teens who adore musical theater as well as for students who are looking for a place to begin their singing journey. This course will allow students the opportunity to explore and practice the musical, theatrical and inter-personal skills needed to craft a dynamic musical theater performance. Students will study and practice a variety of songs from musicals that highlight both belting and legit Broadway singing styles. In addition to this, students will hone their craft by working on stage presence, song interpretation, character development, confidence, and cooperative work with their peers. At the end of the session, students will have the opportunity to perform a short showcase of musical theater repertoire for their families and friends. . *This class is a part of our Certificate in Fine Arts Program and will give each student one point towards their CiFA certification.
