Join Artist in Residence, Fiona Clark, for a workshop about creating public art and then be part of an art installation at West Windsor Arts.

The workshop will begin with an info session on the ins and outs of creating public art: working with organizations, limitations that the artist may be given and possible parameters for the finished piece. Fiona has painted everything from garbage cans to sides of buildings and will share her knowledge and experiences with the group.

The second half of the workshop is all about creating an installation for WWA. Participants will be painting acrylic panels that will line the walkways on either the front or back of the building. We will be upcycling acrylic shields (remember COVID) and turning them into beautiful, eye-catching, colorful panels. Each participant will participate in painting a panel under the instructions of Fiona. The panels will become part of an installation at the arts center.
